NSTec STEM Innovative Instruction Grant

NSTec is committed to improving Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education for students in the areas where we live and work through innovative teaching and learning environments. As a partner in education, NSTec supports diverse and sustainable education programs and has invested over $2 million in education grants and scholarships.

The NSTec STEM Innovative Instruction Grant is open to teachers (grades K-12) in Clark County, NV; Nye County, NV; Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, and Carpinteria, CA; Alameda County, CA; Prince George's County, MD; and Northern New Mexico. Grants requests are submitted via email to NSTecSupportsEducation@nv.doe.gov describing the STEM innovation made possible or assisted by the grant and identifying the amount requested.

  • Grant requests accepted: October 17, 2011 - November 30, 2011
  • Awards announced: December 15, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV
